Greater Seattle Youth Bowling
This site is dedicated to the youth bowlers in the Greater Seattle region. It is intended to provide information about organized bowling events for boys and girls ages four to twenty-one. These events may be leagues sponsored by the participating bowling centers solely for youth bowlers, traveling leagues which bowl at various bowling centers during the season, high school leagues, and tournaments held at the local and state levels.
Most bowling centers have league programs for its youth bowlers. These leagues are generally held on Saturday mornings and are open to all boys and girls from age six to twenty-one. No experience is necessary. Each league is usually divided into divisions based on either the age of the bowler, or their averages. Coaches and certified instructors are usually available to assist the youth bowlers in learning the basics of bowling, and ensuring that everyone is having fun.
Join a League - Welcome New Bowlers
Have you seen our signs around town? Prior to each league session and at various other times during the year we will have our signs out. We are always looking for new bowlers.
Our leagues are open to all youth bowlers. When a parent or new bowler sends their information into this site, or calls the number listed on our sign, their info or questions will be routed to the most appropriate person. This may be the league secretary at the bowling center closest to the inquirer, or it may be to Frank Moore, the Association Vice President. Our goal is to respond to each inquiry within 2 days or receipt.

USBC Youth Program to Make Several Changes
In an effort to provide a more efficient and rewarding system, the United States
Bowling Congress will implement several changes in the USBC Youth program starting with the 2009-10 season.
The USBC Board of Directors, based on recommendations by the USBC Youth Committee, approved several major changes to the structure of current USBC Youth programs. As participation in youth sports is on the rise in America, the changes set forth for USBC Youth programs will attract more youth bowlers to participate in certified league play.
The changes will affect how memberships are processed, offer a new short-season membership product, restructure the awards program and lower the maximum age for youth bowlers.
