Mixed Results at the 2009 All Star Extravaganza at Majestic Lanes on June 6 - 7, 2009. The Seattle Girls All Star team was victorious in the girls divsion, while the Seattle Boys All Star team finished 4th behind Snohomish, Cowlitz, and Kitsap.

The Girls All Star competition remained close all weekend. Seattle, South Sound and Kitsap exchanged the lead several times, with the Seattle team leading at the end of the first day of competition by 1.5 points over South Sound and 9.5 points over Kitsap.
Going into the final Baker match on Sunday, South Sound was leading with 54 points, Seattle was second with 53 points, and Kitsap was still in contention with 49.5 points. Seattle opened the final Baker match with a 213 game and held on to beat Kitsap by 5 pins to win the match total and win the tournament.
The girls were led by Correen Lieber with 1038 for five games (207 average), followed by Catherine Rawsthorne and Krissy Nagasawa with 936 each for five games (187 average), Chelsea Lynch with 881 for five games (176 average), Danaka Heekin with 580 for three games (193 average) and Jamilliyah Cockerherm with 313 for two games (156 average).
Cameron Weier bowled a 300 game during the match play portion of the tournament which was the high game for the tournament.
The Greater Seattle Boys and Girls All Star Teams were both victorious in their Home and Home matches with the South Sound Youth All Stars.
Entering the final night of competition, the Seattle girls team held a slight lead of 71 pins. The South Sound girls managed to reduce this lead and were only 42 pins down going into the final game. The Seattle girls came through in the 8th and final game by bowling their highest game of the match, a 982 game, and ended up winning the match by 150 pins. Catherine Rawsthorne had the high average for the Seattle girls team with a 183.63 average, and Makenzie Cherne led the South Sound girls with a 189 average.
The Seattle Boys All Star team entered the final night leading by 273 pins. They continued to add to this lead and ended up winning their Home and Home match with the South Sound boys by 468 pins. Cameron Weier had the high average for the Seattle boys with a 231.75 average, while the South Sound boys were led by Tyler Cruz with a 221.25 average.

Greater Seattle Youth All Stars Take the early lead against South Sound in the Home and Home Match
Every year the Greater Seattle and South Sound All Star teams get together for two nights of fun and competition. They bowl four games each night and total pins after the two nights determines the winner.
On Tuesday night, May 19th, the competion started at Bowlero Lanes in Tacoma with the Seattle girls taking a 71 pin lead over the South Sound Girls after the first 4 games.
The Seattle boys team took a commanding lead of 273 pins after the first 4 games. As a team, the Seattle boys averaged 209 per person, with Cameron Weier leading all scoreres averaging 238 per game.
